As the year gradually comes to an end, our team at Sandlin Homes wanted to take the time to look back on the whirlwind of a year we have had.

Although the year started off with some uncertainty throughout the industry, our incredible team was able to stand together through it all and create truly spectacular homes for our customers—and we couldn’t be more proud of where we are today and where the coming years will take us.    

We surpassed our goals

We are immensely grateful to be able to say that for the third year in a row, we have surpassed the sales goal we set for ourselves. On top of that—we have also had a record number of home starts and foundations poured, and we are right on track to meet our closing goals and foundations poured goals. 

We could not have accomplished all that we have this year without the gifted and hardworking team around us, and we are extremely excited to continue our work into the coming year.

Created highly sought after homes

Speaking of records broken—we have also had a record number of homes closed this year. With our communities at Sutton Fields, Seeton Estates, Mayfield Farms, Wills Place and Edgefield all closed out, and our new communities at Palmilla Springs and Clairmont Estates officially opened—this has been an incredible year of growth for our team. 

A year of recognition

With over 60 years of industry experience focused within the Dallas-Fort Worth area, our team at Sandlin Homes always strives to go above and beyond the expectations of our homeowners. This year has been an amazing journey on it’s own, but we’re even more excited about the well-deserved recognition that our team has received. 

Our owner and CEO, Scott Sandlin was awarded the Developer of the Year award at the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association—one of the greatest honors that an area home builder can earn. Our team also received some well-earned recognition from the Texas Association of Builders when we were awarded the 2021 Star award for “Best Product Design ($400-$500K) Prairies Oaks.

We also had the opportunity to hand out some of our own personal awards during our Christmas celebration this year. Our outstanding employees and partners are the reason that our business has thrived this year, and we want to send an extra congratulations to David Parker from Builders Equipment and Supply who was chosen as our Supplier of the Year and Danny Becerra from Fine Line Masonry who was chosen as our Contractor of the Year.

The work we do would not be half as good without the support and hard work of our team, and we are extremely excited to have added some incredible talent to our team this year over the past year.
